Breakfast
At the Holiday Inn Express Canterbury, the room rate includes breakfast for guests served from 6.30am – 9.30am weekdays and 7am to 10.30am weekends. We’ve added a selection of tasty hot items to our continental-style menu to offer our guests a complete breakfast choice. The hot breakfast choices include scrambled eggs, bacon, Cumberland sausages, baked beans, BAPs, delicious warm pastries and fresh coffee including espresso and cappuccino. Quorn vegetarian sausage is also available on request
Our existing continental-style menu offers a wide variety of cereals including high fibre/low calorie, a range of yoghurts, fruit juices, whole fruits, grapefruit or mandarin segments and toast.
Lounge & Bar
We offer a comfortable and practical lounge with fresh modern décor in which you may relax with a quiet drink from our bar which is open 24 hours a day for in-house guests.
Whilst relaxing in our lounge, guests are also able to enjoy watching Sky Sports, and Sky News, or alternatively enjoy reading one of our complimentary newspapers available for your convenience. Whilst in the lounge why not enjoy a cup of Tchibo or Torelli Coffee.
In the afternoon from 12 to 5 pm why not enjoy one of our Express Afternoon Teas. We offer a choice of two afternoon teas:
Express Cream Tea £5.95 per person
Sultana scones with clotted cream and assorted jam, served with a pot of tea.
Express High Tea £10.95 per person
Selection of finger sandwiches, a sultana scone served with clotted cream, assorted jam, fruit cake, cookies and a pot of tea.
Restaurant
In the evening, guests can enjoy evening meals at affordable prices from 6pm to 9.30pm. The hotel offers and excellent Table d’Hote menu which you can download by clicking here
